Birthing Services

The anticipation of bringing your baby into this world can be very exciting and rewarding. However, there are times where you may feel anxious and worried. Apart from advising you on ways to ensure yours and your baby’s health during your pregnancy, Dr Zulu will help you come up with a birthing plan explicitly suited for you.

The birth plan covers certain aspects of the birth procedure that is tailored to suit your preferences or what Dr Zulu has advised is best for the baby. This includes:

  • The type of birth you’re going to have
A healthy vaginal birth, caesarean section (C section), or other.
  • Assisted Delivery Methods
Some methods may assist in guiding the baby out of the birth canal, such as vacuum extraction, episiotomy and Forceps delivery.
  • Pain relief during labour
Such as epidural anaesthesia, nitrous oxide and pethidine.
  • Birthing Positions
Different birthing positions, such as hands and knees or squatting, can help the baby move through the birth canal.
  • Emotional Support in the birthing room
Some people may prefer not to have others in the room aside from their partner, whereas others may decide to have someone else in the birthing room as well.

Dr Zulu aims to provide you with the best possible care, along with giving accommodation that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during the time of such an exceptional experience.
